If you've been looking for a place to sell that old box of toys or records that has been collecting dust in the attic or basement, or decided it's time to sell your beloved collection, you've come to the right place.
I am always looking for popular (and not so popular) toy lines from the 60s to the 90s. Things like Star Wars, GI Joe, Transformers, Hot Wheels, Dinky, Corgi and everything in between. I am also looking for vintage vinyl records and 45s. If you're not sure, just email or message me and we can discuss what you have!
Look, selling can be overwhelming. The internet is full of contradicting information and prices can seem to be all over the place. Some folks just want to find a new home for their items whilst others are looking to make the most money they can... I try to make the buying process as easy and transparent as possible, however there are a few things to remember when selling your items to a business (and this goes for all businesses, not just mine),
The business needs to make money when they resell your items. Therefore you will need to be flexible on your asking price.
Most businesses have a pretty good idea of current market value for items. This is usually based on what the items have actually sold for in the previous 30-90 days, not what people are asking. While those prices seem much more appealing to reference, in most cases they are highly inflated.
If you have a larger collection, you will need to accept that, most times, the offer will be a bit lower due to the time it will take to sell that collection and recoup expenses.
A good dealer will walk you through what you have and explain the offer being made. The best situation is when both parties leave happy with the transaction...
Now, with those points being said, I have listed 3 easy steps below to start the process of selling your items with me. Whilst the first two steps aren't always necessary, they greatly help to get you a maximum return when we discuss value.
1. Take Pictures. Collectibles are valued based on their rarity, their completeness and overall condition. Pictures will help me consider the value of what you have to offer. There is a huge difference between a simple description and actually seeing the condition of the items you're looking to sell or trade !
2. Do Your Research. As mentioned above, prices can be all over the board online and for many different reasons. My job is to know current market values and base my offers on them. However, it's best if you have an idea of what you're looking to get for your collectibles before you contact me.
